Watching this performance live was insane, and the crowd was going wild. I'm always amazed at the creativity in variations of traditional moves from FCB at every comp. Really sad you didn't keep your phumaniya from mela that was my favorite segment!

Jodiyaan + khunde left me speechless when I saw it the first time.

Just some quick thoughts based on personal opinion, I did think the jugni segment was super long and extra. Also think the second half of the set kind was not as engaging (jugni onwards) and definitely think jodi interaction could be improved as well. Didn't see the genuine happiness during the set as much as everyone is used to seeing from a FCB performance.

Nonetheless, many congrats on the placing, and excited for the next first class performance!

P.S. S/O sumeet, deepika and ram you all killed it :)

Energy in this performance is disgusting -- no one in the circuit can replicate it in my opinion.

Loved the entertainment value in this set, and I think a good balance was struck between taking risks and executing with cleanliness. How many teams do you see out there who have a fire Chimta segment? FCB is doing a great job in seeing value where other's normally don't - that is no easy task, and I have a lot of respect for that..

I agree with above comments that Jugni segment went too long; if it's going to be that long, maybe you can do something with the mix to make it stay hype with each new piece of choreography.

Overall, I couldn't really ask more from this performance; excellent work, and I'm proud there are teams out there taking risks while still executing at top notch levels. Cheers to everyone involved.

i usually dont post on FCB threads, but here we go....

sher- glad to see a live sher- so far i havent seen one in a big 10 vid. tejas always kills it
chimta- into with a chimta segment is different. i like it. choreo is solid and execution was well done
khunde- i really enjoyed this segment. if you have sumeet dancing dho, everyone needs to be ready to get to his level
dhamaal/strong jhummar- i think the dhamaal was well done. there was a fairly noticeable discrepancy between the green and blue jodi in terms of execution in the hard jhummer (im watching you two, should have been coordinated better)
jhummer- well executed but i think this would have been a good time to change the pace of the routine
4:30-5:20- nice choreo, solid execution. good formations. all around solid (didnt take away from the routine, but didnt add any wow factor to the routine)
Mirza/Chaal- i like that there was dedicated mirza, i liked the chaal. my big problem with this segment is the mix. 0 dhol. thats not how these two segments should be done (esp if youre gonna use 1 minute of the mix/routine on the segment). i like the break up in terms of choreo, but the mix at this point of the routine definitely brought down the dynamics of the segment
Phummniyan- the cascade effect was so sick
Saap- choreo and execution was on point. im not sure why you would have 8/12 dancers drop the saaps at the end. i dont think the effect you were going for hit.

my man in the pink (sagaar) was unbelievable throughout this performance. great job.

this team was criticized in the past for dancer skill/energy from 1-12. While creativity and choreography was never a real issue, execution was. i personally believe theyve overcome that barrier and will continue bringing great performances to the circuit.

disclaimer- many moons ago i danced with this team. take my critique as you please

I thought this set was a very well executed set, great energy, minimal dancer disparity and all around entertaining. Its hard to critique sets like this, but just for feedback/opinion, I put in some of my nit-picky thoughts as I watched the set.

Chimta segment- The segment had a cool concept, but to be frank to me seemed like your guys kato segment, just replaced with chimta. The choreo was explosive and cool, but whether you had a kato/chimta/anything made no difference because the choreo didn't integrate the chimta (outside of tapping it) I think the segment could have been cooler if you could have integrated the musical aspect of the chimta-maybe when you guys performed live the sound of the chimte came out better, but on video, the chimta just looked like any other prop. Formations here were alright, I liked the diagonal work, that was probably the most memorable part. THe spread jodis was good to showcase choreo, but fairly forgettable.

Khunde- Really liked the formation where you have diagonals cutting through diagonals. I think this is where you guys are at your best. You guys can execute really tough formations like that well. The transition for the gimmick was clean, but also a bit clunky. The formation at 2:45 i get is supposed to be 2 circles with a central V, but I think that those shapes didn't come out well because of stage spacing. Sumeet and Dhir were off for the bust out at the end, with regards to the spins.

Hard jhoomer/dhamaal: This segment was a nice pace change given the explosive segments earlier. The beginning formations seemed standard. The bust out formation at 3:35 had a cool concept with regards to the run up and choreo, but I think you should tweak that formation so that the run up is more a surprise, you guys literally.

Jhoomer: Cool choreo, maybe could have put

Gora-Gora rang segment: Beginning fasla movement was solid, interesting choreo variation in the segment, pretty forgettable formation. Like the "speed-up" concept for the drop, I think more movement there would have accentuated that.

Jugni: agree with what others said, a bit long, didn't like the circle formation, movement looked awkward and the shape with everyone in jugni just looked cluttered IMO. As much as I love green and pink going that low, it just made the rest of yall seem like slackers lol

Phumaniya: top to bottom one of your best segments, like the concepts here, maybe would have made the triangles tighter

Saaps: The beginning of this segment was a bit shaky, it seemed like there were miscues with how people were moving across stage. This segment also had the most variation among dancers with how moves were executed (angles, arm placement etc). The stagger formation work (e.g. where people jump or do betke at different times) was nice, but was done so many times earlier in the set in a similar fashion, that maybe you guys could try to change it up.

Like I said, really good set-the above critiques are just all nit-picky things if you guys wanted another opinion. I think you guys can take on tougher formations and maybe a faster pace in certain segments-you have the energy and cleanliness down to a science at this point.

Hope this helps! Really enjoyed the set-can't wait to see more!

Great set! This was a super strong performance and I thought you guys really raised the bar in terms of execution and formation construction. Just some thoughts:

- Chimta was cool but the choreo (other than that dope flip behind your back) was really similar to your kato segments from years passed. Also, I thought starting with just two people coming on stage was a little weird.
- As usual your formations were crazy and your energy was nasty (s/o to Sumeet lol what's wrong with you)
- Khunde was dope. Glad to see you guys still trying crazy stuff
- I was wondering why you guys changed your jhummar transition and put hard jhummar first and then graceful. I thought your jhummar (and your music transition) from soft to hard jhummar at Mela was great and I was surprised you changed it. The transition in and out of both segments seemed a little awkward
- Jodiyaan was probably one of my favorite segments you guys have ever done
- Jugni was aight
- Wasn't really about the swag leaning thing. That lasted forever lol
- Phumaniya was great. Cool concept here and also the energy and dancing went up significantly.
- I respect the difficulty of doing saaps at the end but I almost would've preferred you finish the saap segment and then just wreck everyone with your ending seg. It was a decent concept but I always think you guys rip ending segments and so I was hoping to see you guys do it again.

All this in mind, this performance was amazing. I mean it is very easy for anyone to sit around and be like "I've seen FCB be better" but in all honesty that is just a product of how high you have set the bar for yourselves. Congrats on a strong second place and another successful competitive season. Watching this live was great and I hope I get to see you guys live again.
