mad fun set. khunde tricks were dope. there is a lot of individual swag/nakhra that takes away from the overall uniformity and cleanliness though, apparent throughout. space jam sialkoti looked bad. jugni was sickkkk, the bass sounded so sick on headphones. last song wouldve hit harder with a better dhol beat on top instead of just the snare. looking forward to mix

someone on this thread (pankaja? i think that's his name) called me out earlier for a crappy review of you guys, and i have to agree—it was crappy. here are my actual thoughts, now that i've had a chance to better see the performance.

i think the strongest aspects of this set were the mix and the choreo concepts; both were definitely on point. the mix flowed beautifully, and was done well enough for the greater-than-average number of non-indian songs incorporated to not stand out. a more traditionally-minded person might disagree, though.

to me, this set fell short, ultimately, because of execution problems. there were points where everyone just wasn't in sync at all. the khunde tricks, like vijay said, were conceptually super dope but looked sloppy because they were executed rather haphazardly. same thing for the space jam dhamaal, as vijay pointed out (i actually liked this concept and think it definitely has potential). another thing i noticed was that nakhra levels varied widely; some guys looked pretty catatonic and others were going buck wild.

ending choreo was sick; i feel that's one area you guys consistently excel in. your bruin ending last year was one of the best endings of the competition (imo) and the FCB baithkas to nakreh were shiver-inducing. this ending wasn't as good, but it was still pretty awesome.
