Best choreo of the night...so refreshing and different. Great ideas and subtle variations. Great job boys, you should be really pleased with your performance.

i dont know if this is because the music at the venue was particularly quiet (something that was brought up in some of the comp reviews) or because the mixing was done differently for these videos, but the mix is altogether too quiet. the live dhol, imo, shouldn't be as loud as it is at the moment. just my opinion, though.

excellent video as always and the set is legit too.

What was being pushed to the "house" was being fed into my recorder. This is the way the mix sounded in the venue. The dhol was hardwired into the board, and the sound engineer had his gain too high in relation to the music. It is what it is.

Music at the venue from the speakers was quite loud actually.

Im going to go ahead and take credit for a portion of the great performances since Tdot due to the special magic dust I had sprinkled on those vardiyan before having them sent out to you ;).

Good Job kids!!! Great performance.

I've seen you guys perform since Big Apple 2010 and it's crazy how much your form improves with each competition. Gsimz, you know that I loved your routine at Tdot and my opinion hasn't changed, but I will say this: you guys would be that much more dope if you just did straight choreo for the whole routine. The little gimmicks with the rumaals and stuff like that are cute, but idk how much more of an impact they make or how many more points you get from them. You have the form, you have unique choreo, you have great formation ideas, and I'd love to see 7 awesome minutes of just those. Things that just killed me: the 'kill it' part during saaps, dhamaal (awesome choreo and all of you look on point), and the ending segment was hype.

Other notes: Dancers in the back need to realize that they can't slack off. I saw too many guys taking it easy while others went hard (light blue jodi i'm looking at you). You can see it in saap extensions, you can see it in how high legs are raised, you can see it in how into the performance some dancers look at times. It makes you guys look uneven. You definitely know when to kill the audience with energy, but the other times matter just as much. Also fix up those chadre, guy in yellow nearly flashed the audience at one point haha.

Amazing set and flawless execution. I really really enjoyed the set boys. The energy wasn't there like it always is for you guys but then again this set was just straight thar from the moment it began, so I can understand with a few guys slacking. GSIMZ you killed it my man, that diet of yours deff paid off! Red Jordi (BOBBY, VICK) you guys are just too nasty man. You guys get better and better every comp, keep it going and stay focused.

Work on tying chaddars! Iv'e mentioned this in my critiques for you guys before as well I believe.

P.S. Next time I want a longer callout if you guys are doing it ;) #detroitvseverybody
Sahil, you look nice in Turquoise.

Intro vocals in this mix were prob one of the best I've heard, in line with NYPD's vocals in their mix at MCB last year.

haha i'm at fault here, but in my defense the saap actually broke and fell off its hinge/screw as soon as we started. Had I opened it anymore, the handle would've just disconnected from the saap. Not something many people would be able to tell just watching the performance, but you could tell from side stage. Oh well, rough luck :-/

Loved the choreo and formations. Only thing that made it seem a little off as mentioned before was the energy level and chaadre. I don't think the overall energy level was low but it was very clear that not everyone was together. Overall though good job boys and please post the mix!

Great performance! I'm really diggin' the new vardiyan.

Anyone know the song at 5:35?
At this time, to the best of my knowledge, it's an unreleased song. The singer is local from Detroit, his name is Kay V Singh and the name of the song is Bullet. It's scheduled to be released in March. Legit banger for sure.

I seem to recollect that Aman Dhaliwal performed this sher many years ago (2007-2008?)...Though I don't know who penned the original words...
