Some chadre poorly tied/not pinned, messy at times but that's just me being picky lol. Loved the choreo and formations. Hopefully you guys come back to North America soon for a competition because that was an amazing performance.

Good stuff boys! You guys stepped it up! Energy was on point!

The chadreh were a bit distracting to me. Seemed like they were tied a bit high. Something about them made it seem really old school, maybe it was the design.

Nonetheless, huge congratulations to all of you guys. I'm really curious to see how Ankhi Jawan did. I saw their routine live at TDot and it was really good. Was there only one winner at this comp?

There was a music and live category at TBC, but there was only 2 teams doing live and JVD pulled out last second (i think).
So there was only music, and one live exhibton set by Vasda Punjab (they also competed with music set).
But first place was GCC, they went in hard, even at the party
Second was Nachda Sansaar with a cleannn set
Ankhi jawan were third, (their sync was amazing as fuck), these lot broke the floorboards at the party!! - their video is on nachdapunjab if you wanna go have a look!
;D allow me if i'm being a bhangra geek

Chadreh were definitely an issue for almost all of us, it was less how they were tied but more that the material itself was super thin and light. Three placings as previously mentioned. All the videos can be found on here

http://nachdapunjab.co.uk/

Aside from the glaringly obvious mistakes (like mine) and the chadreh, any critique would be appreciated, especially after such a long thread about commenting on videos. Thanks to those that already have.

That chaafa move at 4:22 was boss 8) Loved the change of pace throughout the routine and finally more guys teams that put emphasis on formations. I see it with collegiate teams a lot but the fluidity through formations always makes a set more appealing for me because it shows the thought put behind a set. A little messy at times which is bound to happen with 16man and chadre tied too high on a few. Maybe also get the guys to dance a little more in sync with one another. Sometimes some dancers were hitting a move harder than others and some were also very upright with no dip in their body when doing moves like phumniyan or dhamaal. But great set nonetheless. Congrats!

Awesome that so many teams in the UK (especially co-ed teams) dance with 16 on stage. It's refreshing to see some creative 16-dancer formations.

Some things I liked

-Khunde segment overall was solid, loved the formations and the way you brought out the rumaalan.
-Transition out of those few jhoomer beats to the Jazzy B Naag song.
-Jhoomjer segment - very well done
-Segment from 5:28-5:38. Tilting the head from side to side during the betkas reminded me of JVD's performance from WBBC. Loved the formation with the two lines coming into the center
-6:40-7:20 - really enjoyed this segment. Having 16 dancers allows you to highlight a few dancers in a particular formation rather than have the focus on all 16. A team can do this with twelve dancers too, but with 16 the formations seem much more substantial. You put the focus on the first Jugni circle in the center, while having the dancers in the back do haathi chaal. Then, the second jugni circle formed with the dancers doing haathi chaal in the front. The remix of this song accompanied the segment VERY well.
-Energy was good throughout
-Nakhra was on point!

Hope to see you guys compete in the US again soon!

Damn son

Everything about this was fire. You guys always have great mixes too (though this one had a bit too much pitch shifting up for my taste, lots of squeakiness). Would have loved to see this live

Oh man the energy in this set was just through the roof! Obviously it could have been cleaner but with a 16 man set and that too all guys, this was pretty damn good.

I love the phumaniya segment. Most creative phumaniya segment I've seen in a while and even the formations were great. Keep it up guys. Build off of this and like everyone said, just fix those chaddars, ha!

Keep #winning!
