Rooh will take any live category there might be unless of course Nachdi shows up, then they might have to fight for it

SGPD vs. Shan-E-Punjab...holy shit..this would be the highlight of my life. Well not really, but man I can't think of two teams better to go head to head. Two SICK teams, I couldn't even predict who would come out on top. A true battle of the best ;D

If there's only one category and no split between modern and live, I feel like judges, especially in Toronto, would choose live teams over modern any day. Live kills every aspect of bhangra in a way that modern teams can't even compare to. There really needs to be a differentiation between the two at every competition...otherwise it's really not too fair.

Can't wait to see Shan-E on their live set, from what I heard, they have been working a long time to put it together.

Last performance Rooh had was at the India competition, hopefully they will do more competitions this year

I also think they should have two categories because because it is very hard to compare live to music

Is Nachdi competing? because aren't they the host of the competition?

I wish they carved out more time and made it like 12 teams... (Maybe cut time limit down by 2 mins, cut other stuff down) idk. I've never run a show, but as a new-team captain I'd like to see more teams get in.

Wait, how many teams practice through the summer? Most private teams? Cuz wouldn't most college teams not be workin this summer? The competition is smack at end of summer... August 30.

For Groundshaker 2, there will be 2 categories, traditional (dhol), and freestyle (music). And no, our team will not be competing since our team is hosting it.

about 8 hours by car, I think. I found some $50 round-trip bus fares NYC-Toronto, but then it'll be a 10-hour trip.
