Dearest BTF Waleyo,
Your honest feedback on our set would be much appreciated, so as to prevent future jaloos/ become better dancers.

Kind Regards,
HPD

I have zero complaints as far as choreo, but you guys need to take step back and agree upon certain technical rudimentary elements before you can attempt a set with this much complexity. Minus the orange girl that stops, there is definitely energy amongst your dancers(redand purple stood out to me) but say for example a step like Punjabs in Sapps...what good does it do to have two girls front and center doing that move with full energy and having them do it differently? I hope you guys can develop that technical sense as far as footwork/synchronization because I'm sure that will boost your performances. Respect.

Hi!

I was practicing using a new rubric for a competition I'm judging tomorrow so I used it on your video :) Email me and I will send my pretend scores to you along with comments I wrote as I was watching it. (Email address is in my profile)

+ Overall I think your team has a solid understanding of Bhangra. The next step is to really go back to basics and practice simple moves, as "tumbidabadshah" mentioned above. Two reasons: (1) Help some of your dancers get better at staying on beat, (2) Build stamina as overall your team's legs are weak, (3) Help you really build a form and style together as a team. Your team has a lot of potential and really shined at times, but this performance was very inconsistent - a few sections would be super clean and energetic then other times would be messy or have dancers not giving all their energy.

+ I would especially focus on making sure everyone is on beat at all times and cleaning your arms. Legs were OK just lacking energy. Also, there are some moves where you should synchronize where to look, i.e. 7:05 (I personally thing maintaining eye contact w/ the audience for this is more impactful, but half the team looks down to the ground for the stomp)

+ I liked your choreography. Though there was nothing particularly memorable about it, it had some cute parts (Jatt Di Pasand) and cool parts (like the move at 6:49). I would try to build on cool little twists like that in your next set.

+ I appreciated how pretty much everyone was smiling and excited on stage. That makes your performance fun to watch

I'm looking forward to seeing your next video, and I'm really pumped about these awesome girls teams coming outta Australia. Good luck and please let me know if you have any questions! :)
