I was talking to a mate about the 10 greatest Punjabi songs. I attempted it but I still want to add more. There are just too many good songs. Here is my attempt. To make it interesting, try not to repeat artists. These are in no rank, that would make it even harder. Haha.

2. Jatt di Pasand - Surjit Bindrakhia (jidi pachi pindha'ch sardari ni)

GSingh speaks the truth. Picking top 10 Punjabi artists makes a hell of a lot more sense and would be far easier than picking top 10 Punjabi songs.

Do you realize how many Punjabi (not only Bhangra) songs get released per day? At least if you pick artists, you're dealing with somewhat of a smaller list and people can discuss their opinions on why someone should be in the top 10 all-time, although all of this would still be subjective.

P.S. - I realize your topic title says "hardest question," but I don't think what your asking is even doable, since everyone will have their own list of songs (which would be hard to compare with others).

Tbh Amanpaul, i was never a fan of Sardool Sikander, but i liked Amar Noorie
Secondly, Chamkila may have a good voice but in saying that some of his music was a bit crude. Thus I am not a fan of his 'ahead of his time' lyrics. (I.e singing about hooking up with your bhabi)

Also noticed there has been no mention of Surjit Bindrakhia in your list Multani.
