4x a week switching it up every week like one day Back and triceps, Chest and biceps, shoulder and so on...
I usually Concentrate on 1 body part a month or two like take Chest then I would mix up Chest with other parts 2-3x a week.
not so big on legs so between breaks I jump on a thigh or calf machine.
So I would do at least 3-4 exercise of a body part.
Then 2 days Abs depending on how tired or if I have time to do them. Hate doing Abs.
Any1 have a good routine I can do at home I have a exercise ball and stuff.

Push Ups all the way to be in shape.

Not that big since I am a beginner. I have a really good metabolism and I don't eat properly like only have 1 big meal a day.

Not working out for a good amount of time now. so Bhangra, Push Ups, and Pull up are my main workout.

cardio everyday. Abs at least 5 days a week. weights 3/4 times a week
You shouldn't be doing abs that often, just like other muscles, they need time to repair and grow (which happens on rest days) so it would be more practical to work them out 2-3 times within a week and you'll see better results

COMTONDAJATT has a sick workout which I've always wanted to follow but I find myself going to the gym 5 times a week lol ...just can't stay away
i dont go all out every ab workout, prob twice a week ill go all out on abs. Its part of our off season golf training. all about the core.

As of now. 0. Getting back into it this break. Doing a strict olympic lift workout coupled with some volume training. my workouts do not contain bicep or tricep routines, nor do they contain any isolation lifts. Once the weather gets better i'm going to have to begin hiit routines with swimming and running.
Wanna get strong? Do bodyweight exercises like pullups, dips, and pushups and you will get strong.

waddup jeewan. i had to lol

i think someone earlier said that the nutrition section wasnt important or something like that. im not saying they're wrong, but they're definielty not right. nutrition is probably the biggest concern we should have, cause most of us don't eat properly.

http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=113010

here if you want to gain a lot of muscle, it shows how important nutrition is, and it can affect the total outcome of all of your workouts.

and cardio is really important, but don't do it desi style and 30 mints on the treadmill ta bas hogi. do at least 60 mins. for working out you need a solid routine, but most importantly, just make sure you're sore as hell the next day, and give that body part a rest so you can build on the muscle.

Monday: Chest/Triceps
Tuesday: Back
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Shoulders/Legs
Friday: Biceps & Abs
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

I do HIIT for 20 mins on a treadmill three times a week.

For new year's, I am thinking of going on Interval Training (Tabata, 20/10 sec rule) on my off days. I heard it is very effective.

Best Way to Stay Fit = Stop Drinking Alcohol.. LOL

Soy protein maybe manufactured in a laboratory but that doesn't mean it's illegitimate.

Soy is wonderful to make your meals complete. As far as incomplete versus complete protein's go; I don't know where tofu/soy falls in that dichotomy.

If you're deadlifting 365 lbs you better be taking extra protein. You're muscles need that for excess repair. That's a shit load of stress on a 150-180 pound frame!

Oh man I can tell you that it will deplete your energy like crazy. I did the thrusters exercise with just 15 lb dumbells in each hand and after 1 set I was done. They are great for a change of pace but ease yourself into it because it takes a lot of time to recover from it initially, the feeling is awesome though.

Soy can screw around with your digestion apparently if you take too much though, problem is I haven't been able to find any consensus from research that says how much. Here is one of the more extreme negative views about soy http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_nutrition/soy_is_still_bad_protein I think soy is a complete protein from most sources I have read, but sometimes people have different requirements.

Protein requirement for bodybuilders/strength training is something that is pretty overrated too and has mostly been pushed up on us by the bodybuilding magazines to buy magic powders when we can get most of it from our diet. Most conventional wisdom says .7gram/lb body weight is sufficient but we usually see it rounded to 1.0 . I see alot of kids pounding the protein shakes without working out hard enough and then mistaking the fat on their arms for muscle haha.

Werd. Another stupid thing that modern bodybuilding and the magazines pushed forward is the split routine/ultra high volume for beginners. People who want to get strong should focus on core lifts and get the most bang for their buck and time. Those bodybuilding routines make a person strong as a side effect of their training to look good, strength training/olympic lifting gets people looking good as a side effect of being stronger.
