just play for a while. just like anything else, you gotta do it for extended periods of time to build stamina.

to not get bored, play to team mixes. a bunch of faster ones played to in a row should help build stamina.

Thanks!:) ill do that.. Have you got any good Bhangra songs which are about 60 bpm to play along to? Btw this forums awesome! People reply within an hour! On dholis.com they don't reply for like 2 months!

Great question.

Its always great to practice with a thick tili and practice each beats slow so that in time not only will u build stamina but your beats will be clean.

All the best.

Play this piece at max speed, it will help with stamina. Dha ga ga na na ga ga na na... loop back to ga ga

Try to play this at your top speed and always try to break that speed. You should be able to play this at both high and low volume but at the same speed. This will build your control. Hope this helps.

When i was practicing my speed i would play bhangra and lehriyaan. i would start out slow with either beat and build up the speed gradually till i can't play any faster, i stayed at that speed till my hands started to hurt and then gradually slowed the beat back to the original speed that i started at.... i kept playing at that speed till i thought i could speed it up again and gradually sped it up till i couldn't play any faster. I kept repeating that process. Its basically just muscle training.
