How to get started with DJing

[californiacation]

So recently I've found myself with a little extra time, and because I've gotten pretty good with mixing using acid pro, I've thought about DJing. Only problem is, I have no idea where to start, i.e. equipment, programs, whether my acid pro skills are even useful in DJing.

Any advice?

Thanks

Start off by getting a dual cd player with pitch bend and a mixer. Start praticing beatmatching first.
