note: i'm not skilled at playing tumbi so dont expect any string magic bein thrown down, just me going thru effects

hope this helps all the live players out there, buy a pickup transducer and a guitar amp and you wont have to use microphones on stage ever again

i think bee2 has me beat from what i read he made an electric tumbi like way back in the 90's, this is just the beginning tho, i'm hoping to completely design a tumbi from scratch its not gonna look anything like a traditional tumbi, my goal is to make it reallllly easy to play. i'm definately gonna have adjustable spring loaded tabs for hitting notes, better string tensioner mechanism, most likely a spring loaded flicky thing(would let u play twice as fast hopefully).

sikk sikk bro good luck on making the electric tumbi...I already know what u should call it 'eTumbi'... since i came up with the name, make sure u give me my 5% of the shares u make sellin ur eTumbi lol

lol i doubt im gonna make more than 1 or 2 "etumbis" i'll prob just put instructions/drawings up online so people can make their own

as a tumbi player this is one of the sickesstt things ive seen !! props to u bro......cant wait to see how u progress with it and make your own.
