How to play Algozey?

[Alprozey]

Hey guys,

Just trying to understand how to play the algozey? I've tried putting them both in my mouth and both my nostrils but I can't seem to get the air pressure flowing? Anyone know how to increase your breathing power / clear up your sinuses so you can do this?

Thanks,
Alprozey

You tried playing it from your nostrils?

For me, practicing this technique helped a lot (ignore the clarinet of course): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-LMiZHWdbU

People have suggested practicing using two straws before practicing on the actual algozey to build/train the muscles necessary to keep enough air pressure flowing during the inhale part of circular breathing.

Hope this helps, and best of luck!
