How to prevent what happened at the Bruin Afterparty?

ive been hearing various different things about someone dieng as well but havnt found any solid information anywhere... i was on the top floor when i looked down and i saw some guy in a blue shirt i believe laid out on the floor with a bunch of people around him looked over for a sec turned back and i saw a few guards rush to him didnt know what happend after that i also saw a few guards grab a guy and take him outside.... if anyone has ever been to an event on the queen mary they will know that QM security sucks ass... ill tell u right now i WALKED past security and into the venue without one person saying a word to me... i carry a fold out knife with me and i wasnt patted down...
organizers really need to step up their security and get a legit company that does proper pat downs... and also knows how to handle a situation like this...

Sulmoney, Im with you on this one. Official afterparty should be for teams only and they can bring 15-20 people with them that they will vouch for and assume responsibility for. I'll give mad props to the first competition that decides to make this smart move.

Dammit, so you're telling me that I have to be nice to teams so they can vouch for me to get into the afterparty? hahahahaha.... Now I just have to hope Bhangra Empire and the Gabroo Punjabis perform at every show that I attend, otherwise I'll be the one starting the fights... hahahahah...

a team allowed to invite 15-20 is a good idea. maybe even push it to 30. it would be like the whole "hey can you get me on your roster"... i really like that idea. remember you don't even need a huge club to have an afterparty.
look at boston last few years ... they had their afterparty in the ballroom of the hotel with a couple of bars around the ballroom.
10 teams(20 people each (after adding people to roster)) = 200 people. 125 will go to the afterparty.
10 teams, each with an additional 20-25 spots for PARTY ROSTER. a possible 250 more people.

also, you have to account for people the competition has connections with. For example, bhangra blowout is gonna have to let people in from gw, and bruin is gonna have to let people in from ucla.
I feel like this whole team thing is really not a solution though. Maybe its just because I really can't see a competition actually agreeing to do this.

hahahahahahahahahhaa... So is this the reason you really want more girls in the club, to prevent fights?? For some reason I think you have other plans...but i could be wrong... hahaha... and I guess, with more girls, you have a better chance of seeing a chick fight, and those are actually kinda fun to watch... hahaha...

Have you been to that afterparty (*cough* Blowout 2007 *cough*) where you see one girl dancing and like 8 guys dancing around her pretty much taking turns with her. Push comes to shove, feelings are hurt and with alcohol involved, you get problems.
What if competitions have 2 afterparties: one open to public and one open to team members only? Or would this take away from the one for the teams only?
