How to Sta Flo a Turla!!

do most of you just starch once? Once seems to be too little, and twice seems to be too much for me

Hey guys.

I have a random question about sta-floing....

I tried it yesturday and it works magic.... but after soaking it and taking off the excess starch... the dye of the paag came off. Example, I soaked a blue paag and after taking the excess off, there was blue mixed in with the remainder of the sta-flo in the bucket... If I were to put a yellow paag in the bucket and soak it, would the yellow paag get ruined with some of that blue dye that came off the blue paag?

no it wont. i've done it before with FCBs and helped Swi do it with CMUs and the other paags didnt get stained or anything by the dye that came off. is this the first time youre "sta-floing" these or have you done it before

you can sta-flo then hairspray if you want, i've found that you can sta-flo then if you really need to, you can dilute the sta-flo for a 2nd round. put half water, half sta-flo and you're set.

When you're drying the Paggs, make sure that the turla stay flat at the bottom. If the ends get a U shape, the turla isn't going to come out clean.

got2b glued blasting freeze spray, 1 bottle is good to stiffen up starched turlay, you can either spray before u tie the pagg or tie the pagg and spray the turla after. there was one pagg this weekend that just wouldnt starch well cuz we ran out of staflo and only had spray starch but 3 coats of got2b did the job

any blast/freezing hairspray will work. Get the most strong hold. I would also recommend blowdrying it as it'll dry crisper and you'll know ahead of time how starched the paghs are. Spray before hand not after, a pagh will still flop even if you starch the visible turla, you need the bottom that goes into the larh to be stiff.
