Hey all!


My name is Nadya Agrawal and I'm a writer for the Huffington Post. I'm currently working on a massive feature about college bhangra teams. I, myself, have dance experience after briefly being a part of the Bruin Bhangra team then spending years dancing for LSE-UCL and Bhangra Punjabian Da in the UK. I'm working to amass a list of all the college (and graduate) teams in America and their founding dates.


If anyone can help with this by adding their teams and year of establishment, that would be amazing!

While we don't have all the founding dates, there are several teams from across North America listed in the CTL (Competition & Teams Listing): http://bhangrateamsforum.com/ctl/index.php?page=teams


^^ The page has been broken for some time and hasn't been updated, but at least you can gather a list of teams from there. To get the founding dates of the teams that don't post here, you probably have to reach individual members of the team on BTF or better yet, contact the team directly via the various social media channels.
