Hey guys,


Here are Hurricane's performances from Bhangra Blowout and Nachda Punjab.


We just wanted to thank everyone for their support this season, especially as a new team on the scene.
Thank you to both Nachda and Blowout committees for throwing amazing competitions and allowing us to compete/perform, as well as our liaisons for being by our side and helping us out with anything and everything we needed. Congrats to all the teams at both comps for putting on amazing shows as well. Really honored to dance with such amazing teams/dancers.


We would appreciate any and all criticism, as we are still a very young team and hungry to improve.

damn this team has so much potential as a new team. Mix is great, and choreo/energy amazing. Just keep practicing, would love to see this team at more comps.

hmmm something really odd that I noticed was how all of you guys are holding the shikkes the same way. Actually that style of playing the saaps is more uncommon than the latter (I play it the same way you guys so too :)).

Anyway, I like the shikke segment. Graceful, clean, however to make a big name for yourselves in the circuit these days you guys have to definitely challenge yourselves. To be considered a team better than average you definitely have to up the ante. I'm basically saying that your saap was really slow, it lacked creativity and intricacy. There was limited interaction and you guys were clean, though there were def points where you can be cleaner. Around 1:17 the jumps look off, but they really weren't. My suggestion don't have a tall guy in the middle doing jump in a group of small dancers.


Green guy at 2:18. You're going harder than your team, a lot harder, and it looks wild and a bit out of control. Watch out for that. Happened a few times to other dancers too. You guys could definitely extend more on some moves. Ending was where your form was really off. Though you guys were slow throughout the set, it was still clean and graceful ( to an extent). extending further would've made you steps look bigger, especially at the end.

Overall solid C set. Guys definitely would benefit in speeding things up, add more intricacy, add complexity, add creativity. Also you guys are co-ed, so play to your strengths. Make more interaction with the jordis, shift the levels (don't stay at one pace). Good luck
