I'd agree about her marrying for family. The problem with Abhishek, in my opinion, is not lack of acting skill, but lack of originality. His acting style is essentially EXACTLY the same as his father and he is essentially his father's clone. He's the younger and hotter version of his dad, but even then, most would still pick MR. B.
