mariam ur callin it BASEMENT?

wait...really?

cuz that would be very very confusing...

[mafzal]

hey the group is called "i heart bhangra"

i'm not organizer. i'm just helping spread the word 'cuz bhangra is really dying in michigan and they're doing an awesome thing tryna bring it back and expand. may be played out for you, but we've never had anything like it in michigan.

so anyone around detroit definitely come through, the people throwin' it are pretty good. it'll be an awesome night -- good music i guarantee, good crowd and a nice place, too

[sorethighs]

You could call it "cellar bhangra"

[faizan]

or Saloon Bhangra, maybe even Drawing Room Bhangra...

[kinnell]

I <3 Bhangra? hahahah

Maybe next time, have it earlier in the semester? I don't know about you guys but early December is all about bringing grades back up. If it was earlier, I might have been willing to grab a rental car, drive 2 hours and make an appearance with ohio people...

[Meistro]

[mafzal]

I repeat: I am not an organizer. I just wanted to post the event to the calendar so people knew... lol

lol this is just like Boston Bhangra Nites in Boston

every major city should have a bhangra night once a month but on different weeks of the month...so if you ever go travel to a different city you can hit up a bhangra nite anywhere
