Great Episode. A must watch. Life Changing.
Really encourage everyone on this forum to please watch it. Pass it around try watching this with your family and friends. If you have brother or sister in high school please pass this video to them. With the things going on this generation it is really important for someone to know that they are not alone and that there is always someone there for them.

I personally went through a lot of the stuff that they talked about on the show but I survived. There are a lot who don't it can be your own sibling, parents, or even your friends that you don't even know are going through though times like this.

As a team I encourage you guys to sit together and have a simple talk let them know that you are there for them.

Thanks

We did something like this at our high school when I was a junior after a huge racial incident occurred. Being 1 of like 12 brown people in school that was basically 60% white and 40% black was not the easiest but its also not the hardest to deal with. If you really get to know the people that you sit in class with everyday it changes your outlook on the whole world. I was always involved in student government like the girl but I never got elected to a big position until my senior year when i was elected as president. Thats when I knew that with time and understanding people can really get to know who the real person is. The countless times I got called Osama or sand-nigger or whatever racial slur was basically done away with. Im not saying all people can change and understand and stuff but yea it can happen if you give it a shot. My Junior year the "Student Government Association" at my school was all white we had a "African-American Club" people spray painted KKK on the walls and white kids would get jumped in the parking lot. My Senior year we had a mixed race Student Government and was sponsored by the ADL to start a World of Difference Club which improves our school. To this day I can still walk down the hall and not feel ashamed or frightened or anything. FUCK YEA!

Great post! I'd love for this to be implemented at every school in the nation. Honestly, this documentary/show is so true! I experience this kind of stuff every single day and have been experiencing it for the past two years... I know almost everyone else on here has already been through high school and can relate to this in the same way I can or the same way the kids in this show can. Its really hard for me to fit in but I look at others every day and see that it must be so difficult for them as well. I guess this means that teens and kids around this age and even younger should get education on how the problems shown can harm not only themselves but the others around them as well!

I was the only desi at my school since 2002. hard shit but once I got into high school, I figured things out and realized that you need to open up to people and just smile. If you really are a likable person on the inside, there will be people who enjoy your company. And I also realized that being funny is always a bonus with unfamiliar people.
