Ignorance - US pilot refuses to fly with Sikhs onboard

one source is not fact, it's a story.
Wait for details, while it's possible that this was a case of blatant discrimination, I'm skeptical when only the Indian Express can be found as a source (most other 'sources' are using the Indian Express as their primary). Most pilots fly consistent routes, so I doubt a Sacramento, CA crew was spooked to such a degree without some type of reason. Plus they passed security, so something doesn't smell right about the story.
Could add up to more ridiculousness in terms of prejudice and profiling, or could mean something legitimate was the source of contention and the pilot didn't want to deal with it (some religious items perhaps).

Yeah I with SWI, I am stunned why in such a region where pilots fly back and forth a lot that we were discriminated against. I guess I will contact someone from United Sikhs to see what happened.
I deal with this everytime I fly, and now I have fun with it. Because especially if Im going to a rural part of the states or Canada, there is always that one gora starring at you the whole time kinda saying to himself like I got an eye on you. If they want to be ignorant, I have fun with it. Sometimes Ill pretend im looking for something in a panic, check my pockets, my luggage, and the take off my shoe, and let a big sigh out, and say ahhhhhhhhhh there it is..
Then you turn on your phone, start talking in punjabi, and throw in a praise to allah to keep those bondus on their feet.

There've been alot of incidents in the past couple weeks and I dno why...it's frustrating hearing about this kind of stupidity from fellow Americans. My inbox has been getting all sorts of stuff from SALDEF, United Sikhs, and Sikh Coalition in terms of recent incidents. It's reassuring that we have them to protect our rights, though.
