Hey BTF!

This year, Illini Bhangra received first place at Naach Di Cleveland, Nach Ke Dikha, and Bhangra Blowout. For many of us, this is truly a dream come true, something that we did not even think was remotely possible just 2 years ago.

Special shoutouts to:
- Mitul Patel & Jinesh Shah: for being incredible head captains this year
- Kanika Manchanda: for being an amazing head captain last year that propelled us towards our success into this year
- Sid Pandit: for helping guide our team towards the right direction over the past 2 years
- Dholi Ram: for playing dhol for us at Blowout
- Amundeep Singh: for making a fire mix
- Amrit Singh: for tying fire paghs
- Mitra Patel: for teaching us how to tie chaddars at NDC
- All the teams that shared the stages we competed at

Alas, here are our videos for the competitive season. Please feel free to leave comments or feedback as most of our team is relatively young. We hope to be even stronger next year!

Y'all are lights out, what is this like 5 firsts in a row?! We better see y'all at Burgh/Boston/Buckeye/Fever caliber lineups only next year haha. Definitely capable now and excited to see the improvement continue, congrats on a killer season!

Congratulations on a crazy successful season! Illini (I-Bhangra) has surely come a long way.
The set had some solid moments and was well executed! "Big spender"/Chaal was hottt (just wish everyone got as low as the front two guys).
Great job on rotating dancers and that constant fire energy!!

This is the team that came out of the blue over the last year and a half and truly dominated the collegiate bhangra scene. All of your dancers all dance with a lot of confidence and swagger on stage which is something that is hard to teach. The form from all of your dancers is quite consistent and another plus side. I'm, sure you guys have heard all these positive aspects in the past so let's get to the negatives. Having judged you at both NKD and Blowout, my critique for you guys remain the same in regards to your drops; they are predictable and repetitive. The best drops are the ones that you don't necessarily expect or ones that have not been done before. I feel like the drops in your set have this mechanism of bringing the same 2-4 dancers charging to the front. This is predictable in that I can hear the build up in the mix as well prior to the drop I expect it. Segments are built around that one little or big thing that makes it memorable. It can be a formation, a drop, or a new move variation. The formula you guys used was the big drop aspect. I like to see some of those other things that make it memorable (a formational movement or more sequences that mimicked that little kick out thing you did at the end of your khunday). Once you guys fix that one little aspect, it will make you guys a force to be reckoned with. Like @JesseMangat said, for next season I challenge you guys to apply to Burgh/Boston/Buckeye/Fever caliber lineups. You guys in are already a threat to any lineup so why not give it a go at those comps? Congratualations on a fantastic season once again and can't wait to see what you guys bring next year.

P.S: A match up between you and MBT would be dope why not give @WestCoastBhangraComp a shot next year ;)

Unfortunately, our GTV video for Bhangra Blowout 25 was taken down from YouTube because our jhummar song got flagged for copyright. We decided to re-upload our video after pitch-shifting the jhummar segment. Enjoy!
