would there be an online after party too? lol jk, but thats a really good idea, i think a lot of teams that cant make it to competitions due to busy schedules and such might apply for an online bhangra comp.

Why not have everyone submit videos by a certain date/time, not make them public and have qualified judges check them out and score the performances?


After the scoring is done and collected, make the videos public and leave them up for a few days before announcing the winner.

My plan was to have them submitted by a certain date/time. I like the idea of virtual judges

It would be hard to pull off, but it would be amazing if someone does.
A problem would be that teams could record multiple videos and send the best one! Which could or could not be allowed!
The rules could have a specific short time period in which the video would have to be recorded which would allow the teams to be able to record only 1 or maybe 2 videos.

Yeah bro a lot less hassle than gathering an entire team this is just an individual competition. I'm deff. down hopefully everyone else will be too

I like this idea a lot - I agree there are logistics to figure out, but if they are handled appropriately, this could be an awesome experience for the bhangra community. I've watched more videos of Bhangra online than live performances at competitions and this is probably true for most people (high quality youtube videos & GTV is almost always available, while I only go to competitions approximately 2 to 3 times a semester) - we might as well take advantage of the availability of other ways to enjoy bhangra. Great idea, keep thing outside the box!

Bhangra World Cup

Im not sure if anyone said this already but you can make standings and then a points systems and you work your way up and end with 8 teams or something for a world final competition bigger then wbbc yeah i said it
