I don't know about you guys but I'd be much more willing to take advice from Steve Jobs or Walter Mossberg than some random bhangra dancing dudes...LOL jk

iPhone 4 still won't take out BlackBerries because of the sole reason that they will never have anything close to BBM. Everyone hypes new Apple products and they always seem to die out as the release date comes closer which I am sure will be the same thing with the iPhone 4. I won't lie, the video calling things cool but everything else is pretty much the same.

Well there are apps that are very similar to BBM (I have like 5 of the apps) and it's pretty good in that sense...only problem is that not everyone has the exact same app, making it difficult...

Checkmate... Exactly what I've been saying... The hardware is impressive, but Apple dropped the ball a long time ago in software development... The iPhone still doesn't do things a basic phone would do, they're too busy on adding new features that are pointless in an attempt to push out a new product and sell more units... iPhone's contenders are getting very close and mark my words, Apple won't be the winner in the big picture if they keep their current practice's up...

live video calling on a phone  I think I'm in love lol
Well just keep in mind how long did it take AT&T to get picture messaging on the iPhone ... its gonna be a similar case with the video calling ... thats just too much data for them to handle ... also since the data is gonna be limited now ... some ppl are gonna get charged up the A$$.

- Complete a call without dropping? It's not the network, it's the hardware
- Notify me of a missed call or unread message repeatedly, with the option to select ringtone
- Let me easily select custom ringtones for every aspect of the phone, call text email alarm
- Boot up in a reasonable amount of time in emergency situations
- When I wear my dastar, the proximity sensor doesn't know it's next to my face, I end up hitting all kinds of buttons with my cheeks

I have the 3G and its slowing down to a crawl now...and it just recently began to drop calls like no other. I can't wait for the 4 though. Contenders are catching up though...the htc evo is almost matched up with the iPhone, losing in some categories and winning in others

I find that in general- most phones don't last you longer then a year. No matter how top of the line they are but that's usually because of wear and tear.

I used to own the 3g and I dropped that thing so many times, eventually it just got so messed up I HAD to change it. Or maybe I purposely started to do that just as an excuse to get a new phone.. ::)
