i was an iphone user for 3 years, wanted a change of scenery and got my galaxy 2 a little while back ... don't think i'll ever go back to the iphone, i can't believe i had never ventured to android sooner.

Honestly i am a iphone user and i will recommended the iphone due to the advance os processor in the iphone 4s. If you need the smart phone know i would recommend the iphone 4s or w8 for the iphone 5 which is coming out around sept. Otherwise if you dnt like apple. I would say samsung galaxy s3. Even though andriod is a its developing stage and has not been around longer then apple, they made impressive smart phones. Overall i like my 4s especially when i get lazy to search something i would just tell siri. But go for what ever fits ur need. And what carrier are u because it depends alot if your verizon or atnt. Iphones work better with atnt and andriods work better with Verizon.

alright so if you are leaning toward an iPhone, then wait. just sit tight. the worst feeling is getting a new 4s the week before apple drops the 5. then you just feel like shit. plus the price of that 4s will have just dropped like hell so you can't even sell it back.

but if you want to get an amazing phone now, both the Note and the SIII are amazing. i've used a note extensively before and it's really a beautiful thing. the pen is incredibly accurate; you can actually take notes and draw on the thing. all the styluses i've bought for my iPad are essentially useless. the only downside to the note is, obviously, the size. the note is powerful enough to replace a laptop, though. one of my friends uses exclusively her note with 3G/4G and wifi in place of a laptop, and uses a desktop at home.

Straight to the point:

If you want to be able to have full control over the interface, get a phone with Android. You can do so much more with android. The phones are getting better and better so reliability is increasing. If you want something extremely simple and smooth, go iphone. i love my droid cause I can do everything I need to do within one swipe and one touch of the screen. Iphone doesn't have that flexibility as of yet, at least to my knowledge...

Get the galaxy s3 it has a better voice command then siri and it is a very good phone, but however if your still into apple then i would wait till the iphone 5 comes out as its gonna be releasing with t-mobile. By the phones ive delt with so far id go with the galaxy s3, i would look at the reviews on youtube if you want to be sure that its a phone you would look into and like.

And t-mobile has good phones it just their service sucks now they barely get bars in some places and at&t actually does get bars lol but i got reall good deals on t-mobile since i deal with phones and all other types of shit.

Google play for android pretty much puts and end to this. allows u to upload ur entire music library online w/o connecting ur phone to ur laptop and u can later access/listen to those files through one of ur phone's music players

With ICS, theres no real reason to term android as 'technical' and iOS as 'simple'. Stock ICS is fairly optimized, quick to setup and use and requires little tweaking. It comes down to customization, which Android wins, and ecosystem (i.e. if you have an ipad and mac then an iphone just fits nicer and will play well with all devices).

I believe most phones bought new now come with 30 day return policy if you don't like it. I know some people who have done this and it's helped a lot.

Alright getting straight to the point, android s3 is new then the 4s that y it has a better voice command. I honestly started out with galaxy but then switch over to iphone 4s. I love the imessage option to save your texts and data plan im getting which atnt does not offer any long. Apple has not release anything about the iphone 5 but ive been hearing rumors about its designs. Iphone is pretty much simple as it but apple keeps a tight control over the product. Very hard to go pass i bought a program called copy trans just for all my music when ever i switch pcs so i dont need to worry about losing all my music. Even though of the tight control, apple offer alot more useful aps that are legit like my garmin app you cant get with android. Android like I said does not have a advance ios processor. compare to apple. Android phones give the consumer more control over their phone unlike apple. My dad works at apple so i get alot of discount with apple products. Its honestly depends on your personality.

The Galaxy Note and the iPhone are two very different phones. You can't compare the two until you know what you want. If you want a simple smartphone, that'll get you your e-mail, your texts, your phone calls, and do basic web browsing, then the iPhone is great. Android gives you the ability to do those as well, but if you're a technical person you can get much more out of it (even more than Jailbreaking can do for you).

If you look at the Galaxy Note for example, that huge screen can give you the option of ditching a tablet and just using your phone for everything. I will say that until you see the video quality and awesomeness on the Galaxy Note, you can't say "oh I wouldn't like a big phone".

I personally have the Galaxy Nexus which is a great phone. ICS just really hit the spot and I think it finally made a dent into iOS. Gingerbread and all were great, and I've been using Android for a while (Also have had every iPhone), and can say that Android is finally a superior operating system as long as you have the appropriate device.

Furthermore, I'd say if you were going for Android, I'd say get the Galaxy S3. It is feature packed, offers a Siri equivalent, and much much more.

Someone earlier said the Siri Equivalent on the S3 is better than Siri because the iPhone is older. I'd say I have to disagree, simply because Siri is something that is software based, therefor it can be upgraded through firmware upgrades. Also, to my knowledge, Siri is used through a network connection, meaning everytime you ask Siri to do something it sends your voice recording to Apple networks (or wherever) which then figures out what ur trying to say and sends you back a response. I think Google did a better job with this in Jelly Bean because the voice command is simply on the phone, so theres no "fetching from the network" required.

I think the S3 personally trumps any phone out right now, but I will probably go back to my iPhone simply because of the new "Hands Free" feature (or whatever its called) because it gives my car Siri, so it works out for my personal ecosystem.
