iv had my Ipod for like 5 yrs with 3000 songs on it..is their a way i can move all my songs to my computer not into itunes but into a folder on my computer so i can have the mp3 files?

ya you have to like
go to control panel
go to folder options
click show all hidden files
hit apply
go to your ipod as a drive, i.e. my computer>ipod
then find the music folder in those folders there
and you will see your music
but its not going to have file names
its going to say something like
30048309

still works but file names are 4/5 character long letters only and at random to what i could tell

Download Copy Trans Control Center & it gets all your music for you (includes the actual names of the songs also; works great) =)
