is Jashan Bhangra happening this year?

Apparently they were planning on doing it during May/April. However its getting closer and closer to those months with no announcements. I'm pretty sure it won't be happening but hopefully they come out with an official statement regarding this soon. It would be a shame to see a premier competition like Jashan not happen.

One integral part of the "Jashan" experience is the venue in which the show is held; The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. One negative downside about this auditorium is that it's constantly booked week after week, and often booked years ahead of time. The Jashan planning committee had 2 prospective dates for the show, as mentioned, in May and April. These dates weren't optimal, as they were in conflict of other Bhangra competitions and university finals. That being said, it is with much regret that the Jashan committee had to postpone the show for 1 more year.
Do keep your eyes open for future Jashan announcements, the show should be back next year

I've heard nothing but good things about Jashan from Harjot, attendees and those that have taken the stage. I wish the committee all the best in getting the show back on the road soon.Gabroo Tv said:Do keep your eyes open for future Jashan announcements, the show should be back next year
