Going into half time paraguay is upsetting italy with a 1-0 score. Parguay took the lead on a header off a free kick, a few minutes before half time.

im not impressed with the italian squad so far. It is raining really hard though so its affecting play. Disappointed that Macheda of MAN U wasnt selected.

this game disappointed me. italy has alot more potential than this. but atleast they didnt lose.

The outcome of the game was slightly disappointing. Some people are suggesting that the absense of Pirlo is the reason as to why Italy couldnt pull of a win, personally I think thats BS. They have always been a strong, flexible team, they should have still been able to pull off a win. Lippi kept on saying that experience out weighs age .. . didnt seem like it today.

I am and will always be a die hard Italy fan and its harsh killing me that they couldnt pull of the win, but Paraguay really stepped up their game today and deserved that tie. Hats off to Alcaraz and Torres for setting him up for that wicked goal.

im not surprised at all at the result .... i mean italy have always been a team to go up by a goal and see it out..... they are very defensive compared to other teams and has proved successful for the, ... however their games are not very entertaining due to their defensive nature. dont get me wrong they are a very good at what they do... also paraguay missing santa cruz.... they were there for a draw and hoping to steal a goal.. so it was defence vs defence only gonna be one outcome ... not a very good game ....
