i am saying this in the nicest way i can!

That was no where near placing first. The guys espically need to have tons of practice; they would randomly sit down and stand up.... Yur jumps were just _____. It great that u guys r spreading the culture but rigging a comp like that just isnt cool. Teams spent weeks of practice and thousands of dollars getting there and then this happens. I was spechless when the placing were announced. And we were not allowed to speak to the judges afterwards so we were never given an explantion of what we did wrong.

Just an idea.... judges that obviusly rig comps should be put on a black list

USC keep it up and you guy will improve for sure and csun idk who picked the judges but that was probably the last comp u guys host.

alright guys i know i put a sarcastic comment above but reading this again I believe we are being unfair. Everyone is being a critic and comparing this to a first place preformance. JJ just preformed, they did so not asking for any specific placing, they did however recieve first. Now do they deserve it in most opinions, no they did not. However, did they get that first place, yes they did. Now to be fair to the team i think all of us should critic there dance as we would any other preformance and not try to compare it to a first place preformance.

why put down a team that we feel didnt deserve first. They preformed and we watched, they placed where they placed.
There is alot of room for improvement and we should acknowledge that in this preformance yes, but let them be excited about this and let them grow. We shouldnt dump water on a growing fire <--- best analogy i could think of i guess :)

don't blame the team, blame the competition. it's not their fault they placed first despite their performance; it's CSUN's judges

this is one of those 'where do i start?' moments.

you guys could have been cleaner, outfits are like Hkiran said slightly short, the performance was very reminiscent to Bhangra Empire, there were many many flaws in the routine, energy should have been kicked up a notch, the guy in the right (me looking at stage) front was tripping over himself one too many times, you guys were looking at each other to figure out what the next move was, and the betka were not done properly by some of the members.

it was defintely a great effort! don't let any of this discourage you. like ak di nishani said 'every team has to start somewhere'. take this as a learning experience and really try to build on everyone's critque becaues at the end of the day i think we all (i know i do) want to see you guys become stronger.

keep up the good work guys!

After watching the performance, there were quite a few areas that need to be improved. Overall, cleanliness is a big issue, especially in your jumps. You guys also need to be confident when you dance, you are looking at each other for the next move and your facial expressions aren't consistent. Also, try to experiment with creative formations. And yeah, I agree with everyone else that this performance really reminded me of bhangra empire, there were a lot of similar concepts. Remember practice makes perfect =)

do you guys read any of the messages above^

forget wether this was first or not it waasnt the team who picked the places. Instead of reminding the team that they shouldnt have first why not critic there preformance and see what they can improve of. This is really starting to get unfair to the team, so please be respectful that they went out and preformed and got whatever they did.
