The Jashan Planning Committee is excited to announce that Jashan 2012 will be taking place on Saturday April 7th, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
The Jashan Planning Committee couldn’t think of a better time to announce our date for Jashan 2012 than this weekend, when our Jashan 2011 Punjabi Spirit Honouree, Fauja Singh is back in Canada and ready to set another world record!
Fauja Singh will be competing in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon taking place this Sunday. Those that were in the audience at Jashan 2011 saw the amazing energy, passion, and drive this gentle soul has. We wish him the best of luck on Sunday and encourage those lucky Torontonians who are able to be at the event, to go out and cheer on a man who truly embodies Punjabi spirit.
To see a few glimpses of his larger than life personality, check out Harjot Hundal’s amazing video from Jashan 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/harjothundal#p/u/28/HGyfMqNLFk0
Further details on team applications for Jashan 2012 will be shared with you in the coming months. We look forward to creating an experience that is enjoyed by all!
Take care
