Remy stfu .. what do you mean its a different team Lol it has all the same memebers in it LOL ALL the girls that performed with you at Rangla are performing at Jashan.. just because you put a "^2" behind the NSM doesnt mean your a different TEAM lol
There are far more civil ways of approaching this. Lets be a little respectful

@Romy thanks for clarifying

@Remy I disagree. When PANJ Girls perform it's still representing the team PANJ, when Cornell Mundey or Kudiyan perform it's still Cornell Bhangra. Same with ABC Girls and ABC. When NSM Guys perform, if it's the same cohort and you're calling it NSM, that's part of the team. The line I'd draw is at different style, different vardiyan, different activity schedule (e.g. Joshiley Jawan's original lineup, which was heavily from one team)
I don't see what the issue is of changing the name, they want to be represented as the guys only version of that team so be it, keeping the same acronym therein shows us that the same core is represented, but that there will be newer dancers to the original guys (can't do a 6 man performance). PANJ girls do for me have a different identity than PANJ. While hailing from the same academy or root team they potentially win because of the girls team, not the coed team. I don't see why it's that bi an issue... Well atleast their name...

i'm not sure if you're familiar with the recent controversy surrounding the co-ed NSM^2, but that's what Remy was trying to distance himself from by clarifying that NSM is different from NSM^2.

Saleem, not that I think you're wrong, I just think that both you and Remy are looking at things from a different perspective. You're correct in saying that this team is representing NSM. But Remy is correct in saying that this team, as a whole, is a different team than the one that performed at Rangla Punjab. If NSM^2 performed at RP with 12 dancers-6 men and 6 women-drops 6 female dancers, and then picks up anywhere from 2-10 male dancers, then this is in fact a different team.

Remy, when you say that you are bringing the boys team to this competition, I'm looking at you as a leading figure on the team. As a leading figure, it's your responsibility to teach your team how to be graceful-both on and off the stage. I respect you, and I'm hoping this becomes a turnaround story.

Sometimes the winning team isn't the one with the trophy. Mais c'est la vie!

On another note, WHAT A LINEUP!! Too many good teams, and I know too many great people on nearly all of them. I really can't pick one team that I want to win, sooooo GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Cherag and Campy thank you for being so understanding. The subject has been beaten to death and I want everyone to stop. All I am going to say is this: we have reached out to the appropriate people and expressed that we're sorry for our actions, we respect the other teams, and that the change to placings was Rangla Punjab's decision and any questions should be directed at them. One would assume that this alone would have sufficed and all of the bashing would've stopped because in the end it wasn't our fault that Antar gave us the win... but clearly it didn't as I received so much hate and even death threats from fake accounts in my facebook inbox. For the last time - GIVE ME A BREAK! the responsibility is hers and anyone who has an issue should take it up with her. Everyone refrain from posting anything more in regards to Rangla Punjab because I REFUSE to touch any more on the subject and it is inappropriate to hijack jashan's thread.

But yeah getting back on topic; I am are super excited for this comp. I had the pleasure of dancing at last year's Jashan and this is by far my favorite competition ever. The Jashan commitee really goes the whole 9 yards and does everything they can for their teams. The organization for this competition is phenomenal and the organizers really go out of their way to help out the teams in any way that they can. I guarantee you all will have an amazing time and a great weekend here!!

+1 - This campy guy sure knows what he's talking about ;)

Very sorry to read about all you faced Remy, especially when you didn't deserve it at all. Good luck at Jashan Remy bhai.. very excited to see what you guys bring! I hope you will bring it hard because this lineup is intense. Can't wait to see the videos.

P.S. - I still remember when you first started in the competition scene; big improvements my friend.

I'm surprised BMW isn't in the lineup this year. I remember Sunpreet made a sick mix last year for them.

We didn't apply this year! Since we so many younger members on the team this year, it would have been difficult for us to travel all the way to calgary! Anyways, very sick lineup and awesome competition :) Good luck to all teams!
