Anything with an orchestra usually makes it that much better. Take Metallica and the SF orchestra (I believe) they joined up with at the beginning of LAST decade or so.

kind of off topic, but i made a mix for my old highschool team, introd with the original run this town track (yes i know other teams did this too). Added a dhol, mixed it very minimally, BUT... one of the girls on the team, her dad works for Jay-Z and decided to show him. so bout a week ago the performance and mix were sent to him lol. made me feel pretty cool, jay-z could be jamming to a bhangra cut RIGHT NOW
