Probably the best story in baseball since John Lester coming back from lymphoma to pitch a no-hitter a season later. Hamilton was an alcohol and drug addict, and after getting selected in the pre draft-draft, forget what its called, where no players usually make an impact. Spent time in the minor leagues, where he bounced around a nobody had faith in him, left baseball, dealt with his demons. He got an influx of money from being drafted, and he blew it all on coccaine, other drugs and alcohol. Came back, is completley clean, and is the story of all stories... I remember this guy from the reds last year

The Raiders were in the Superbowl a few years even though they got blown out. The A's are cheap as hell, but still competitive. And the Sharks, well we're always on the cusp of winning it all every year only to see our dreams shattered because of our own stupidity. Currently the bay area is going through a transition phase, just like every sports market in the country goes through every now and then.
