"It's not what's just on stage, it's about what you build when you're training. We build that connection, we build that family. You're never gonna get friends like this again. That's what Bhangra is all about"
+1 and respect for the response

I loved the energy and nakhra complemented with dynamic formations (Fidelis, you are an amazing dancer). It was great meeting you guys this weekend! I hope you can make it out to the states more often!

That was too sick of a performance! Well executed and clean in all aspects. JVD held it down for the U.K without a doubt :)

JVD was matched against UVA. Cornell was matched against CMU. I'm just uploading videos, in show order, according to "approved" status.

-hh

I understand that :p I just meant as the overall winner

Since I saw their video from Bhangra Wars, I've been looking forward to seeing them perform live, and they did not disappoint. Seeing this performance live was a different experience altogether! Extremely clean and well executed, and the mix is amazing! The video captures everything so well, thanks GTV!

Really honored that they came all the way to the US and performed! Hope to see them sometime soon again :)

I was sad I didn't get to see this live but you guys killed it. Loved this set almost as much as the Bhangra Wars set. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and we hope to see you guys compete in the US again!

Also: CMU's cheer while JVD walks into the dressing room... haha ;)

you guys smashed it as usual! repping the UK scene big time. Have to agree with Fez, it wasnt AS intense as the Bhangra Wars 2103 set but nevertheless still amazing. Fid and Natasha in blue are smashing it as usual, and the rest of you have unbelievable energy and synchronisation. You guys are THE best team UK has produced till date!

Energy was nuts, such a great performance, the girls on this team are really good, the guy in blue was the biggest BOSS

Great routine, y'all killed it. Not only that, but meeting many of you and hanging out at the afterparty was great. Such genuine people and it was evident from talking with you that you were passionate about bhangra as an art form more than anything else. Hope to see you guys again soon, maybe in the UK next time ;D

I really wish that I could have seen this live! Ever since I watched you guys for the first time, I was truly impressed about how your team manages to keep a consistently high level of energy throughout a routine. Your formations were dynamic for the most part, and I especially think you guys kept really good posture throughout! There were a few parts where I think some of the members of your team had very static shoulders though, and I think that's the #1 thing you guys need to work on. The messiest part by far was the khundey segment, and that was a bit disappointing to be honest. Since it was near the end of the routine, that stuck out like a sore thumb. I love how you guys came down to the US to represent the UK, and JVD did one hell of a job. I really hope that the other UK teams follow in your footsteps and we can have a truly global circuit.

One of my favorite coed teams by far, I was bummed I couldn't see this live. I think the camera angles and stage size might have taken away from your performance, because the Bhangra Wars set looked much cleaner in terms of choreo and formations. That being said, your formations are some of the best that I've seen - constant movement without overdoing it, all dancers are highlighted, and very innovative. Choreo also flows very well throughout the set, and the dancers executed it very well. I talked to Jasdeep and other team members over the weekend and could tell how much time, practice, and thought has gone into the set, and it was very refreshing to see a coed team execute a traditional yet exciting set. Shoutout to orange jodi and blue guy for killing it the entire time!

Also loved the vaardi, as has been called out already, and so glad you guys came down to the US to perform. You guys are great dancers and really awesome people to hang out with. Good luck for the future, hope to see you guys live again soon!

Just wanted to say on behalf of JVD that we had such an amazing experience coming over to the US and having the opportunity to share the stage with some incredible teams! From the moment we landed, we were greeted and taken care of so well by everyone we met (will post more in the comp review). It was great getting to know people from different teams and finally meeting some people who otherwise were just usernames you'd see on BTF.

The response and love we've received has been crazy and I can't wait to see all the performances from the night! :D

Btw here is the balcony view of our performance:
