Congrats to JJ ! I am sure you guys have set the standard for all the male teams in the circuit currently! I loved the throwback Intro yall had it was a sick way to make a statement! Some mistakes in the performance by some, but who cares it was an amazing set. The only drawback I saw was the mix wasn't mastered correctly, but the Dholi made up for it! Other than that probably one of the most entertaining sets to watch in a while without any gimmicks and all cause teams cant resist to do a set without gimmicks these days. Congrats again to everyone. I will miss JJ alot. Hope this wasn't the end ! :)

The JJ boys really impressed not only me, but many people this time with this Elite 8 performance. This has to be one of my favorite sets from this year. The set was unreal and was very different from a lot of the sets that were performed this year. The saap and ending segments were my favorite as you can feel the energy from just watching the performance. the khunde segment was unreal as the energy to accompany that was great. The jhoomer levels were hella sick and the overall best part of this performance was the level of synchronization of everyone. It is usually very difficult to pull 16 man sets this clean and especially with the caliber of this choreo. The formations were also very unique and complex and for the most part, they hit very well. Those tiger growls were also a very interesting aspect as they came out of nowhere and surprised me. I Personally loved the mix overall so big ups on that. Shoutout to Shahrukh for an amazing job. Also a shoutout to VD, Manraj, and my OG Jodi Sumeet from the N^2 days haha.

Saw this live and glad I did. One thing I will say about this performance is, while watching from the audience, your energy and presence was that of a winning team. The confidence across this roster of dancers is admirable. You guys came out there to win and I felt it.

Drop into jugni was a powerful moment for me (both live and again while watching your video). Also, personally feel like its really difficult to achieve a lasting impression via a shikka segment, but you guys achieved that in my opinion. Creativity choreo-wise was on an elite level throughout the entire set.

Was nice to see everyone dance as a team, but still have their shining moments that came through naturally because of pure ability. I could point out a handful of examples, but honorable mentions would be: Shahzaib from 2:11-2:22 really shined. Also when the red jodi comes up at 5:50 - too dirty.

Need to shoutout VD, Simrat and Manraj. It's crazy to see your progression as dancers from your very first days till now. Keep killing it, you guys are sick!

Congrats again to the entire team. Nothing like ending on the highest note possible :)

Congrats on first place at home guys and that too on your last set. It was nice to see you guys being to embrace it with family and friends.

Review of the set:

Mela/Intro: The mix and lighting all complemented along with choreography of black and red pagg. I felt like this was going to set the tone of you're set, the mela reminded me of you guys from Fever with and the style you guys dance with.

Shikka: Your speed hid your mistakes to the audience and perhaps judges at initial watch, it felt like every (at least) 8 beats somebody messed up in the first half of the segment. Squat turning was executed well and I thought it fit very well. When doing khichaan right after however, some people are actualing "khich-ing" their legs and some aren't because it's too fast for their comfort zone. Double spin bust out was cool and built up well with spinning layers and it hit but I felt like on the actual step where you guys came forward it would have been more effective to step into it by bending your knees more.

Khunda: Lehriyaa Chaal was great very reminiscent of your style and arms form and angle and head tilts with directional looking was great. Personally I felt like you guys took too long to get into the lyrics of the first Khunda song kind of like how you guys did the Khunda break at Bell, there was just too much of a lag for me, it looked like it set up the formation well and gave a bit of a change in pace for your set which was a plus point but didn't for me end your Chaal as well. When the lyrics hit everything after I though was super effective and flowed really well, except for the move at 2:34, people weren't completing arms and the rumaals helped show that they weren't.

Kabaddi Segment: I like this segment a bunch especially because of the way y'all went into Chaffa, but a lot of movement and guys are just chilling weren't picking up legs. But choreography here was cool. But when double chaffa dropped, I thought the way you guys did single Chaffa into it was hot and graceful into a stronger and hard hitting double Chaffa.

Jhoomer: Minimal Knee Bending and a lot of standing up straight, made you look tall but not big. Something you've done a better job of in the past. Akardh( attitude) when dancing was spot on it terms of nakhra and chattkeh. And going into Tarhi Jhoomer I feel like just the spin wasn't enough, maybe a jump would have been nice.

Sammi: Nobody is picking up legs and fully extending arms BUTTTTTT, this segment was my favorite, because it just felt the most JJ to me which I loved.

Slow Dhamaal: Cool segment but some people struggled with it being slow and fully executing moves like the Jhandhu Singha legs with the arms coming up, whereas somepeople hit it right on the monety and looked sick executing it.

Fast Dhamaal: great segment the way you guys dropped into Jugni was money. Transition out into next segment took a little too long for me.

First Ending: Great Energy Great combination of moves, people were getting tired but, which started really displaying stylistic differences.

Second ending: Love everything about the ending segment. Both songs and it really looked like y'all were completely enjoying the segment.

I know I may seem super negative but I'm just keeping it real on how I felt when I first watched this video. The difference in styles were super evident whereas they weren't in the past and there was a lot of chilling which wasn't present in the past. I thought set creation was good, but this wasn't a JJ set to me at the end of the day, ya there were parts at a holistic standpoint Bell felt more like JJ to me and I liked that set because it held your identity consistent, all just my opinion. People don't need to be called out where they messed up or stand out, from my knowledge at least 10/12 of the guys that I know from this squad are tenured and tried dancers, and your individual pretense on stage was great. But collectively this time the set just didn't hit for me, it wasn't the same JJ I was used to, haha that may just be it, and it may have been your intention to not be the same as you were in the past, but it fell a bit short in the overall performance quality then when you put all of the pieces together. Just my two cents.

Hats off to first place once again!

Congrats on the win JJ folks, Bell is still my favorite JJ set of all time but this was still a good performance. Saaps seemed too fast which led to saaps not being extended but everything after props had my complete attention, especially the drop into chaal.

Yet again congrats on the win.

Impressive performance.

From the very beginning Mela I felt like I was watching a traditional team from Punjab. It's unfortunate that you couldn't have used the Klasikhz intro.

Every single move, drop and segment was properly crafted leaving me fully into the performance.

This is the definition of a elite performance.

At first, the routine felt very Toronto, but I scrolled down and saw Rajbir did the mix so of course it was going to have a different feel than the usual Klasikhz we're used too. Lut lo nazare drop came out of nowhere and was nutty

No ones touched on vaardiyan: Beautiful! White vests on white kurte, but color everywhere else is clever and looks very appealing. Especially the red/black/white combo SRK and his jodi are wearing (I'll take 12 of those for my squad)

Seems like the performances of the Fall have kind of gone quiet and all talks have been about this JJ routine, FCB Livegate at E8, and JVD at WBBC. Unless a team goes completely bonkers at Bruin, I'm positive this will be the Performance of this Year and what comes to mind when we look back at 2015.

I'm probably the latest person ever, but hey congrats fellas!

Glad Danny mentioned the unique vardiyaan. They look especially nice with that pitch black background. Rumaalan were also an excellent choice. Like some others, I was also expecting something similar to Elite 8 2012, or at least your most recent performance, Bell 2013. I wasn't expecting so many changes, from the vardiyan, to the 16-man set, to the overall change in style. While watching the performance live, I could barely hear anything (at least from where I was sitting) about two or three minutes into the mix because of all the bass, but I realize now that this particular issue has more to do with the mix itself than it does any technical issues that the venue could have been responsible for. While watching the performance live, at times the music volume bordered on unaudible, and the dhol so much louder that it seemed almost like a live performance.

A few segments that I particularly enjoyed:
 • Opening mela was beautiful and executed so well
 • Intro sher by Iqwak is dope
 • Shikke segment - energy was through the roof, choreo was sick and so clean
 • Aaja ni Aaja segment!
 • Jhoomer
I only skimmed through the replies, so I'm sure others have mentioned something similar to this: I immediately thought of Nachdi Jawani when the shikke segment began. The set just seemed to have that Toronto influence. Anyway..overall, I enjoyed this performance and am glad that it won. I didn't have you guys in my top 3 because I presumed a more gimmicky set would win Elite 8, which has a history of favoring gimmicky sets with immense wow factors. Although I understand the rubric has changed considerably - haven't checked it out in detail yet.

This performance was certainly elite.

Shout out to Simrat, Shahrukh, Simran, Vishal, Barua, Sumeet, Manraj for absolutely killing it, and others members of Joshiley Jawan on winning Elite 8.

Most favourite performance of mine this year so far! Cannot stop watching this video, get so G'd up each time I watch it. Loved the live hardwired dhol, added that extra tradz feeling many performances are missing. The speed, move variations and song choices - all on point . I was expecting some gimmicks from you guys due to the nature of the Elite 8 comp, but no gimmicks and just straight fire Bhangra! As many guys have mentioned there is that Toronto influence in the set (eg NJW), but the extra nahkra and jodi interactions took it to the next level. You guys were not only a team in terms of sync and form, but as always have a trademark unique character. The separate intro video was funny, as all JJ intros are. Mixing was sooooo good and the drops were perfectly timed - loved the Lut Lo Nazaare drop (great 90s song throwback). And Oh Dear Lord that end segment!

Felt privileged to meet some of the guys from JJ at WBBC this year. Great blokes and really chill. Oh and Cheers to Karthik for tying our Paggan! Sad to see JJ retiring, but what a way to go out. Much deserved. Congratulations
