I hate it when people call any sardar a "gyani". At the root of the word, gyani means "holder of knowledge" GYAN = knowledge. So it is insulting true gyani's when you refer to just anyone with a pagg and dari as a gyani.

It would be one thing if Harman said that Canadians are retarded but he clearly didn't. He simply asked why Canadians refer to sardars as gaini's.
When saying "retarded if you ask me", he was referring to calling sardars gianis. He did NOT say canadians are retarded. There just happens to be Canadian trend that does not appeal to him.
