dont mean to be rude im saying this all as constructive criticism....but you all need to work on form and technique for executing moves which was especially apparent in your jhoomer segment, perfect example are those behtaks in the jhoomer segment peoples back werent straight there was no extension in the arms. and to make matters worse the singer got off from the moves in the beginning. i actually liked the sets ideas some of the stuff was unique, but what really killed it for me was the singer. you should have tried to get the singer from ur malwa set.

AGREED.

I dunno, did you guys get a new roster again? Or maybe my standards just increased this year.

Dude in red with the glasses is mad awkward. It could have been the fact that he stuck his head out a lot. Or it could have been the fact that he made this performance not suitable for children under the age of 18.

Also: 8:56. Those are screams of horror coming from the audience. You can't hide from GTV, Harjot even zoomed in on you.

OMG... I didn't even notice that! I really need to start paying attention when I'm editing these videos...

yeah what everyone else said about the execution of moves was right...and the red guy in the glasses, oh man....at least you gave the bibi'a their moneys worth ;).....and you guys should really try to learn how to tie puggan and maava them correctly, there were improperly tied puggan and floppy turlay left and right

Damn Finally!

Well thanks for the criticism on the negatives so far. To answer questions... Yea form was stressed but the team lost many dancers couple weeks before comp and has to teach 4 guys in less than a month. So kinnel, yes new squad.

Guy in red actually is actually dances really well but was forced to dance akward due to his chadra flying all over the place, so of you watch hes trying to keep his chadra covering him rather than openly dancing. It was the case for many, but effected him most. I personally dont care, I got a morni on my paatSucks.

The cahdre and paags were rushed up the ass, we didn't have adequate time to get ready. Every team was pushed. I personally got my paati for paag tied as the intro vid was showing. But we gave it our best, shit happens.

Hope I can hear good criticism as well.

As for JATT, we are signing out!

Honestly man, in this day and age, if you don't have the form, then that is your MAJOR problem. Once the form comes, everything else seems to fall into place. Spend the summer working on form, because this is not going to fly anymore.

As to your chaadars, that was rediculous around 8:56. It takes two seconds to pin a chaadar, and you guys should have done it, no matter how behind you were. It is very disrespectful to the audience to see all that. There are women and children, it's just not cool. In the future, you HAVE to pin your chaadars.

it takes a simple pull on ur chadra while going back
since it was his left side
he couldve just reached across and pulled on it a bit so it covered more of his leg and then tuck it in under the roll that was made..

Yeap. But in the heat if the moment, when you have committee members pulling you onto stage, shit happens. It's not like we didn't care to.

As for form. Like I said, a lot of guys I taught couldn't do it so I pulled ppl from other teams in socal, and it's a mix of socal dancers who dance modern with traditional. I stress form but when you got 3 weeks and you just got replacements, I'm just trying to get them to know routine. Someitmes things don't go as planned...

Yea guy in red had it the worst. Like I said, I don't really care of leg of a little leg here or there. I've seen worse things, chalo...

There is more to the video than the wardrobe malfunction, we can talk about that, like the routine, amazing dholi (sunny aujla), bolis, I think it's clear and ppl have stated the chadra part, no need for sarcastic or making fun of it.

Best,

Are you sure the chaadre malfunctions weren't done on purpose? ;) I tend to recall something from last year...

personally legs showing doesn't matter. bhangra was meant for guys in the first place. original boliyan go on and say things like "paat teh pavai morni," meaning guys back in the day had peacock tattoo's on their thighs cuz chadrey show legs. Hence, when you'll see our video you'll be seeing my legs. It's part of bhangra baby.

And I think we mentioned a few other things other than wardrobe, like working on individual dancers' form, which is so crucial for live performances.

8:56 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

I must say, that is a creative way to get "crowd reaction" points!

Wear shorts under your chadre people. No one wants to see your boxer briefs/tighty whities on your hairy legs.

That boli will never be the same for me.

No disrespect to the team in any way but if u had less time nd no proper dancers, u shudnt have competed in the first place...why wud u go on stage when u know that u guys dont have the proper amount of practice!

nd please pin ur chadrey next time, nd mawa ur pughs aswell. Again I mean no disrespect to the team.

Kinnell, yea I know I think minimal here and there, there is nothing wrong.

Lally, no disrespect taken, it was just a couple of guys who coudlnt do it, so we picked up last second ppl. A lot of teams do it, so have better luck than others. It's easier to integrate ppl into a mix than live 2 weeks before. Everyone wanted to still do it.

Honestly our form looked fine at prac, an tech, I can show you vid, but when ppl are concentrated on holding chadre and using their hand to adjust or weird ways to position themselves so they don't show leg, it makes it as if everyone was on diff pages. I wouldn't compete if I wasn't ready, but the chadre kinda got err one off guard. As for pinning, I said already we got straight rushed on stage and Didn't have time to get paags on correctly, mavaa was fine. When your in a rush, bout to perform, little things slip, little things that can cost ya a placing. It was a domino effect, some were effected more than others

Best, Jaskaran
