just an idea.

The mormons have their university which is paid for by their tithing money as an active member of the church. BYU is highly regarded as a university and even has great sports programs.

What about a US Branch of "Khalsa College"? Paid for by a coalition of gurdwara's and people's donations and operated by a chosen committee (obv...)
The bhangra team would own too.

lol just a thought, don't start bashing me.

[yraparla]

good thought, but just too much gurudwara politics as is

That's my main concern as well. Perhaps a private institution then, but it would be mighty difficult to get people to go to a brand new PRIVATE school.

In theory its a great idea, but as swi pointed out waaaay too many politics involved..
