Hi BTF!

This is my rendition of the song 'Kangna', originally produced by Dr.Zeus and sung by Master Rakesh. I hope you enjoy it!

I was hoping for a diffrent Kangna song with brand new lyrics..this one doesn't even come close to the the Zeus version. Music was nice, produce some more bhangra boliyan Ricky Jatt..

this surpasses the zeus version musically and vocally. love the chill vibe of the whole track, very well balanced/produced musically, all the instruments compliment the track, nothing clashes. we all knew ricky could sing a live bhangra set, now we know he has enough range and control to throw down a solid recorded track. this is awesome, hope it gets the popularity it deserves.

also love the fact that the download is in uncompressed wav format lol.

@hardeep_singh lol didn't want to sacrifice sound quality and compress the download to mp3 format, so kept it as the wav file!

Defintely going for an East meets West feel for this track. Listen, enjoy, and share!

This is a great track. Loved the spanish style guitar!

I think this is the type of punjabi music that can really cross boundaries and appeal to the masses. The production is really good and Ricky's voice is strong without being overwhelming.

Great job Ricky and crew, hope to see big things from you guys in the new year!

great job Raashi! really love the liveseque coffee shop band vibe going on here...definitely something you can play while just lounging. its really nice to hear something thats vocally and musically smooth, rather than the crazy bass drops and heavy club music you hear these days. this is a really great interpretation of the song - i think next is to create some original songs - hit me up if u ever need ideas, i have like 300 songs in my head lol

Very interesting vibe! This is not an easy song to showcase vocal talent, but Ricky did it while balancing with the instruments. Congrats to all involved, Ricky, Raashi, Waleed, Sheru, etc

This is so legit. I've always loved Ricky's singing but this was totally fresh and unique. My non Bhangra friends that saw the video were super impressed by the musical arrangement as well. Great to see something NEW that's actually so well done.

Can't wait for more tracks!

Loved it! The production value is amazing, both audibly and visually.

I think, visually, the only thing I would recommend maintaining a consistent camera style for the entire video. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but it seemed that two different cameras or lens were used for the inside scenes and the outside scenes. Inside, all of your scenes have a natural bokeh effect due to a larger aperture (which has become a staple these days for music videos), but when you have scenes outdoors with Ricky, there is no focus at all, f/20-ish like aperture and the harsh blue sky takes away from Ricky. It contrasts too much with the inside scenes when you switch back and forth and makes those outside scenes look fake. I think there was an post-recording bokeh layer added to one of the outside scenes, but even that doesn't mesh well with the "soft" and "focused" look of the indoor scenes. Maintain that consistency and it'll go a long way - the outdoor scenes would have looked so much better with that consistency.

amazing cover. I like it a lot better than the Zeus version, vocally and instrumentally.
