That's awesome! There are many non-Indians that do bhangra competitively now, such as dancers on Joshiley Jawan, Cornell Bhangra, SMD, Cal Bhangra and the list goes on! It's amazing to see dancers beyond our ethnicity and culture being exposed to this wonderful dance form we call bhangra. :)

By the way, there was a team I always enjoyed from a few years ago called Geneseo Bhangra that had a lot of non Indian team members! You should check their videos out too!

Yeah! I'll definitely check it out its always nice see other races appreciate our stuff!!! :D I had never really seen it though and she's pretty good especially for 2 months I was like damn I wasn't that good after longer lol and I watched bhangra all growing up you kknow haha its embarrassing!

non desis in bhangra are common to the point that it feels kinda insensitive to make a big deal out of it like its something spectacular. i think most non desi dancers just wanna be treated like everyone else in the circuit. it's not surprising that they can do bhangra as good as or better than their fellow desi/punjabi peers, they're just as passionate about it.
