I noticed u always get screwed in competitions lol

lol i think we've grown to accept the fact that we always get screwed....lol but we dont compete to place anymore cus the judgeing criteria is just soo difficult to follow these days...like its as if you have to impress each and every judge individually cus everytime we ask the judges for feed back so that we cud grow as a team, the judges all contradict eachother and we just dont know what to follow...

but we honestly just dance for the fun of it now...its just a fun atmosphere to be in and it gets you all pumped up and gets you in the mood and all to win first...but winning is just a bonus...at the end of the day we do what WE do best....BHANGRA!!!! we are in it for the fun and to see the creativity that all the teams bring to the table...we all feel greatfull to be dancing on the same stages as other teams

be it placing or not placing....Kohinoor Folk Arts Club will be there be it last place or first place...we will always promote bhangra and dance till our bones and heart dont allow us no more (which is never )

wowwww great message! i loved the performance! i had the pleasure of talking to some of the kohinoor dudes when i was helping them with their team shirts, and even during those convos, they continuously emphasized that placings and what not weren't their motivation for dancing. So big props for spreading the positive spirit and good luck in the future!

To my kohinoor boys; rash, amit, and inder, well done guys. The juniors who danced were really good as well. I cant wait till i get some time to come up to surrey. Forget bhangra for a weekend, bund pangey all day erday, well for the weekend atleast. lol.

On a serious note, after talking to these guys numerous times, just as harman stated, they love bhangra, the art side of it, not the competition, competitions are truly a plus for these, they showcase their talent (whether live or music) and leave people speechless, and something to talk about after they snap back to reality. If kohinoor can do that, they feel they have done what they set out to do.
