a lot depends on how fast your hair growth is and how thick it grows. i usually let a beard and mustache grow for two weeks then make cuts on the corner of the lips to separate the mucch from the daari. then over the next few days i will begin twirling the ends up a little, by the third and fourth weeks it has gotten to the point where it stays in that position naturally. the longest i grew the mustache for was around 7 weeks and it was thick as heck. i miss it kinda. ill try to find pictures.
