ahahaha "la clase de historia hacemos despues"

the judges seemed to receive it well, and the two dancers were actually quite good. you could definitely see the empire influence though.

this is a sick find, man.

wow. thats amazing
Can someone summarize what the judges said?

so the male judge says: "I must say, when you came out alone, i was like 'meh, this isn't going to be super interesting.' but afterward, when your sister came out, she won my heart, because she dances really well. i'm not familiar with the music you're dancing to—i don't have much knowledge of indian culture—but your guys' choreo was really natural. i felt it was integrated, natural, lively, and energetic. i originally thought it was going to be boring and lifeless; you guys totally went against my initial conceptions."

then the black-haired female judge says: "it was pretty. it wasn't incredibly spectacular, but that's probably because that's how the culture is. it's sort of mystical." (this judge was straight pulling shit out of her ass)

then the blonde female judge interjects saying "we can do the history lesson later. let's just judge the performance." she continues, saying "i don't know anything about this dance—where it's from, or what it pertains to, etc. but i liked it, so from me, it's a yes."

the dude goes "yeah for me too, it's a yes. welcome to colombia's got talent."

then the last judge goes, "well, welcome." the performer asks her for her opinion, and i can't understand what she says there, but she specifically neglects to mention whether or not it's actually a yes from her.

then the other female judge goes "well that's three yes's, welcome to colombia's got talent!"

as the performers are walking off stage, the black-haired female judge is like "no, that's not three yes's. it's not three yes's. i didn't say whether or not i gave a yes. that's only two yes's."

and that's the end of the video.

so actually, a while back i posted a video of 2-3 of our guys teaching a bhangra class to a bunch of hispanic women and one guy. The woman dancing in the video was actually the owner of that studio that employed our team for bhangra classes bimonthly, and her interest stemmed basically from this. She has since closed up shop and moved back to columbia, and while we werent teaching this particular style, its an absolute pleasure to see outside cultures taking a heavy interest in ours. this is awesome.
