Laptop Help!

my laptop keeps restarting and a blue screen appears saying , "windows restarted preventing damage"
im not quite sure of what that means and its pissin me off :/
can someone tell me what the problem is?:$

Could be many things. What have you recently installed/changed to the laptop?

corrupt system file(s), boot with Ubuntu boot disk
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download
save all your important stuff to external hard drive
dban your laptop drive(completely formats everything)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/files/dban/dban-2.2.6/dban-2.2.6_i586.iso/download
reinstall OS
