Las Vegas All Stars 2014 Results

First Place Winners:

Raas: UCRaas - University of California - Riverside

Bollywood: Wanted Ashiqz - New York

Bhangra: Nishani Bhangra - Houston

Congratulations to all the Winners, and all the participants, you put on a great show. We had over 6k people attend the Las Vegas Mela and hope you enjoyed the new element of performing outdoors. The energy and overall entertainment the teams brought, was what we had envisioned when adding the All Stars to the Mela.

We would also like to thank the Judges, and GTV, for coming out to support our 1st competition.

Look forward to doing it again next spring!

It was a great weekend with a very helpful committee. Committee was very helpful in providing whatever the team needed. The transportation and food was provided to the teams at the stage rehearsals. Also, committee provided breakfast on competition day. Missed the beginning of the Mela but I watched all the Bhangra performances. Each team had a sick mix and choreography. Competition was running on time and results were released right away. Thanks to all the Judges for providing proper feedback afterwards. I would suggest having a mixer party next year for all the teams. Otherwise, it was a great experience. I would highly suggest each team to apply at that competition next year. Thanks to Harjot Hundal GTV for recording all the performances.

Congrats Nishani on the 1st place performance! Can't wait to check you guys out via GTV.

Also a big congrats to the committee and the people "behind the scenes" of organizing this first year mela/competition. Only hope it continues to improve and gets better with time.

I'm sure it must have been awesome to be in Vegas for a weekend. I wish the timing of the event wasn't close to college finals, otherwise I'm sure a lot of other teams might have applied.

All the best,

~ Basim
