Learning traditional bhangra!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to find out if anyone could help me out. Although i've always been bhangra obcessed music-wise when it comes to technical knowledge dance-wise, i don't really know much. Only very recently i found out that there's actually specific moves like mirza, phumniyan and so on. Just wanted to know if there's any resources, like books, videos etc, that i could use to find out about these different moves and how to do them etc.

So far, i've just heard few names like mirza but when i tried researching on the net, couldn't find anything!

google learn bhangra in 7 days, it seems cheesy but itll give you a basic knowledge of some moves. There's plenty of videos on youtube also mate if you search bhangra with move names I know for a fact theres a couple. Also check out the btf channel, it will also link you to kaka zaildars channel that has lots more of these videos...http://www.youtube.com/user/BhangraTeamsForum

cheers faysal!! and mate that learn bhangra in 7 days video is actually pretty good, LOL at the warm up exercises at the start haha. i was searching on youtube i found this sick video this guys done and he's annotated all the dances in this routine: Annotated Bhangra Steps in a Live Routine - Virse De Waris at DDA 13. and that kaka zaildar brehs channel is pretty useful as well!
