I love basketball, awesome game. Great shot. Bad D by Orlando though.
not really i think they did there thing! thats just another coaches excuse. but if u really analyize it there is nothing that orlando could have done. =]
Are you kidding? First of all Lewis wasnt even near the inbounder to change or mess up his pass. Second Lebron was single teamed. Who in their right mind would not double team the other team's best player? Not taking anything away from Lebron but if they defended it right there is no way he would get that shot in the first place.
I wouldnt double team Lebron at that point! First of all if u see the video terkalo was right up on his face. second Lebron had a very low 3pt shooting percentage that game. third terkalo was going to defend him from goin in and which he did perfectly. fourth as big of a lebron fan that i am, i must agree lebron is not a clutch shooter YET. kobe is deff more clutch, no doubt about that. and since there was only 1 sec left, if they double teamed lebron mo could have easily passed it to someone else. that was a great defending from orlando but hats of to lebron for that crazy shot.

It was horrible defense. Lewis wasnt even guarding the inbounder which was the biggest mistake they made. The thing though is you never ever let the teams best player beat you. From the time we play as kids we are taught to double team's best player and make someone else beat you. If Lewis wasnt going to guard the inbounder then they would have had enough people to double team Lebron, which is weird as hell since they didnt do it. Oh well.

Kobe was lucky to have shaq early in his career...lebron is going to surpass Kobe in everything statistically possible..his time for a championship will come also. just a matter of time.

haha, we'll see when that time comes. cuz he wont win it while kobe is still playin'

so f**kin what kobe had shaq, woopdy f**kin dee, jordan had pippen, if some owner has the bank to put a sidekick together for lebron then he just might, whether thats in cleveland, but thats not likely. he'll be in New York. until lebron can get his sidekick, he's goin nowhere.

kobe had shaq is the only excuse kobe haters make. did you ever think of it this way that if shaq ddn't have kobe would have the lakers won? and it wasn't just kobe and shaq. The players they had on the 3 peat team were all championship players. Rick Fox, Brian shaw, Robert Horry, they wouldn't have won it without any of these players.

Don't be so quick to take offense...I think both of them are great players...no ones taking anything away from kobe...relax...

You are right...every great player needs a "sidekick"...and lbj will get his and win a championship.

I hate the ESPN/VItamin Water/Nike/NBA hype they did with Lebron vs Kobe crap. It was stupid.

Lebron will accumulate stats like a champ for the following reasons: He started young and was starting since day one. His whole team's offense runs through him and pretty much touches the ball on every possession by design. He gets a huge amount of his points from drives and that naturally puts his fg percentage and other offensive stats look awesome (Hollinger's stupid PER system for example). Lebron is a great player and does amazing things but when you dominate the ball and your team that much it is tough to develop the players around you to do anything more than just stand back in watch. That is why he has to single handedly lead them to wins when they are down. He needs another person to play, Mo Williams just isnt cut out for that after watching him this playoffs.

What I hate hearing is when people (usually Laker/Kobe haters) say that Kobe needed Shaq and Jordan didn't need anyone. What bullshit. How many playoff series did Jordan win before Pippen arrived? 0. Michael Jordan is the greatest 2 guard of all time but even he couldnt do it on his own without one of the 50 greatest players in Pippen helping and a supporting cast. That is the nature of this sport, its a 5 on 5 game. Plus coaching is a huge component to winning, Shaq and Kobe didnt do shit without Phil, neither did the Bulls.

When I saw Lebron leave without congrating Dwight and the team, I was like wtf...he didn't even want to talk to reporters. Kobe congratulated the Celtics team even after the Lakers were blown out.

And then Lebron says:

"It's hard for me to congratulate somebody after you just lose to them," he said. "I'm a winner. It's not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you're not going to congratulate them. That doesn't make sense to me. I'm a competitor. That's what I do. It doesn't make sense for me to go over and shake somebody's hand."

Umm i think that defines a poor sport lol. Hopefully he matures up a little.

Yea I was really surprised by that. Does that mean the Hawks werent competitors when they congratulated you Lebron? Grow up.
