Not a fan of the vardiyan colours or the saap and kanto segment, it could have been way stronger. And at times people were not executing moves at the same level. It would also have been nice to see more powerful moves within the set, just a thought for next time. You have your own style which is nice to see and you are a new team so i think you guys weren't half that bad. Good luck at your future comps

I think the chimta girl was Richa.. and idk about the Dholi.. But good job to both.. As for the routine it was a bit sloppy.. The girls tend to skip some of their steps or forget them.. Some of your team members tend to look at each other while dancing which makes it look really sloppy.. Make sure when you guys are practicing that everyone is one cue, small things like hand movements and stuff like that.. Overall it was a good performance.. The jhummar was nice.. Your guys mix is hella sick.. keep up the good work.. Hope to see you guys at upcoming comps

police thingy going into ending -->> NICEEE. ending of routine started off pump but then sorta fell off... maybe work on that. also my only complaint relaly is that some everyone got tired and at times it was obvious with some people. but that's an easy fix just work on that
overall I can see ur guys style and flair already even as a new team, and i like it alot keep it up - can't wait to see the other vids u had of the other comps u did this year.

lol wow i just got the whole police lights thing, i just thought they were random light haha..but its cool lol........solid set, enjoyed watching it. One thing though, the prop segment was really weak, some dancers need to learn how to use them properly (one girl had the kato backwards lol)
Going 8 with 4 guys/4 girls is risky and unfortunately it just wasn't thought out well/executed well. Any team that goes 8 needs to make sure their formations take up space. At times it felt like there was a jodi in the middle and the rest of the dancers were back-up dancers out of the spotlight and in the back. Don't hide dancers as much. I think redoing formations would do more justice to the choreography. Also, you really shouldn't go with the 2 guys/2 girls per color scheme route. It's simply not a good idea with 8 co-ed. The vardiyan colors are not only dull but very much clashing.
There were definitely mistakes and the routine itself was messy at times. I did not like the random dancers who showed up. They weren't talented enough to make their part impressive at all and they unnecessarily took up the spotlight. As people said before me, dancers seemed tired at parts and the vast majority of dancers need to work on their form (ie: keep their backs straight on steps, keep their hands straight).
ADVICE: Go 4 color jodi. Don't use black as a vardiyan base unless you plan on using BRIGHT colors. Using more than 2 colors should only be done with complimentary colors. You are only an 8 person team, you need to differentiate your jodis as much as possible. Separate your dancers/jodis in formations. You want to take up space in formations, not hide them! This doesn't mean don't do complicated different formations, rather keep in mind that establishing a stage presence is more important than creativity. You have a lot of gimmicky stuff in the choreo which is occasionally entertaining, but you guys really need to practice the actual choreography. As I said before, 8 man is risky especially co-ed 8 man - dancers really need to be graceful with the steps and complete the moves and the team needs to be more cleaner than a 12man set.
It's a good start. You guys can only get better from here. Best of luck.

As far as vardiyan go we didn't really have a choice, because when we ordered we planned to go as a 12 co-ed team, so we had 3 sets of 4. After our first comp alot of people got injured and what not, so we decided to go with 8 and this was our only option with vardiyan.
It's interesting what you said about formations, because when we made formations we didn't go in with the mindset of keeping 1 jodi in the front the whole time, we tried to do the opposite and switch it up... And the judges at Giant actually told us that we should keep 1 jodi in the front more often and that there's nothing wrong with doing that hahah
And yeah the prop segment, the mela scene and the hiphop are the main three things that we changed between csun and giant after seeing this video. Everyone knows what sides supposed to be front for the kaato, i dont know what happened there I didn't even notice till you pointed it out haha.
