Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Hey guys,
Well I'm getting the disk tonight when my dad's back from work. I actually can't wait as I heard it's great!
Anybody else got it?
I had one question,
When you've installed it, does the update erase old files like documents, music etc etc?

Yes Swi,
I heard about that too, I did a bit of research and it was due to the users not installing the Mac OS X 10.5 update properly from the software update.

yo prit, just got my CD. this update your talking about, is it the OS 10.5.8 combo update on apple.com?? I installed it..so does that mean i should be good to go with the installation?? Also, do you have protection of you mac? like anti-virus and spyware and freeware or whatever ware?? Please give me some advice on that...thanks man

thanks...installed it and it works great. just need to figure out how to run 64-bit...its like a big contrevorsy on running 64 bit as default and stuff
