i am just speaking on behalf of myself and not of my team, but i danced with GMU so i thought i'd give my experience for this year's MCB. Overall i think the committee did pretty good. our liaisons, Jyoti and Sandeep, were wonderful and I felt they had a general idea as to everything that was going on with the weekend. The hotel was probably the nicest competition hotel that i've stayed at so far. I really hope that all the ruckus people were causing saturday night won't prevent the committee from getting that hotel for the teams next year.


mixer was good too and the food was delicious. that chicken pakore... hai rabba that chicken pakore. so good.


the MCs i felt did a pretty good job as well! I couldn't understand every joke they said since punjabi isn't my mother tongue but from what i was understanding and what i was seeing in the audience, they really did try to make an effort in keeping everyone entertained.


the show really did feel like it went forever though. and i think that's what screwed up the after party. having that huge hall across the auditorium was a good idea, but because of everything running so late i think the majority of the people just did their own thing. and i don't know why but the after party venue reminded me of the prom scene in Napoleon Dynamite hahahah.


Gary, I think you did a great job the whole weekend. it showed that you made a huge effort in making sure all the teams were doing well and personally visiting the teams multiple times throughout the weekend showed that you cared about everyone there.


one thing i remember our team having a problem with was the fact that after the mixer, when we had one of the practice spaces, they had to cut our time short by 10 minutes, which i felt was a lot of crucial practicing time that was lost. So we weren't really happy about that. but other than that I personally thought the committee did a good job and I really hope to come to MCB next year! 8)

Of course ya did. So you could take this any way you want it but stop the drama i aint trynna get up to the point where im getting at somebody cuz it doesn't make sense stop making btf a useless place ya act like preschool kids i mean if that makes you happy then do it but when people so ya act comps they gonna be like wtf. Now that you know what a real shots fired reply sounds like just stop my ***** just stop for the past 6 years ya come outta no where with some slime shit yeah we got disqualified once yeah we lost to ya at albany yeah (this ones the best) YEAH WE GOT BOO'D OUT BY YA AT MAD COMPS. Hello everyone,
I am a member of Virsa: Our Tradition and would like to comment on the “drama” that occurred in this post on the behalf of my team. Everyone knows that Virsa and AEG has drama/beef/love/hate with each other and I would like to acknowledge that it is true that we don’t like AEG or plan on liking them. I personally think there is nothing wrong with this and that it only keeps things interesting and fun for us. We like creating drama on btf/facebook/instagram and reading everyone’s responses which makes it even more hilarious to read. I agree that one of our members kind of went overboard and would just like to say that sometimes youthfulness gets the better of you. Also to all the younger people on this forum that we have “corrupted” I would like to say that this “drama” we have with AEG makes us want to improve as bhangra dancers and as a team. Without it Bhangra probably would not be fun for us. We go to Bhangra Competitions to show our love and passion for Bhangra and also to compete.
P.S. We will put up our video when we have a few things figured out.
