I dont know how it works for Swi, but for me, any and all crack's did not last. Theyd work for roughly a month or so, and then cop out, and I couldn't mixdown my files. This will suck severly when you're very far into some mixes and can't save em cause your crack stopped working. Just a word of caution...

This is true for me as well, i must enter the code every time I use mixcraft, but I'm pretty sure for newer versions even this doesn't work.

Having used mixcraft, audacity, soundbooth, and acid pro I highly suggest acid pro. Mixcraft is ok, but acid is just a cleaner program that's only slightly more complicated (and it has beatmapping which is godsent)
